JOB SUMMARY
This Senior Manager position in CBRE Digital & Analytics team will support Sales & Client Solutions in the EMEA and APAC regions. The Digital & Analytics team is a group of experienced data professionals, analysts, data scientists, and developers executing real estate business intelligence projects for CBRE's clients. Our projects are focused on data integration, automation, warehousing, and visualization to optimize client portfolio operations across all of CBRE's service lines: facilities management, project management, finance, capital planning, portfolio optimization, and more.
The Senior Manager position will report to the EMEA & APAC Head of Digital & Analytics to support sales and solutions activity from RFP to award. They will lead the achievement of strategic goals and deliverables for CBRE's occupier clients through the sale and deployment of reporting & analytics solutions designed to create superior measurable outcomes for these clients.
The ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set across several categories, including: solutions experience, strong client-facing communications, experience in business intelligence and common real estate technologies, and knowledge of the corporate real estate outsourcing industry. This position is available as remote, but candidates who can work hybrid from a CBRE office are preferred, with the Digital & Analytics team presence in EMEA and APAC currently based in London, UK. This is a regional, and occasionally global role, and requires the flexibility to occasionally attend calls and meetings in multiple time zones.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Together with Regional and Global leadership, has responsibility for Digital & Analytics solution development for EMEA and APAC regional outsourcing pursuits.
- Manages the creation of presentations, written responses, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and marketing professionals, as directed by Digital & Analytics leadership.
- Understand and articulate, to an audience with varying levels of understanding, business intelligence solution architecture.
- Understand and articulate, to an audience with various levels of understanding, real estate technology and popular solutions in the marketplace.
- Achieve sales targets in collaboration with CBRE's Sales and Client Solutions team.
- Support the management and achievement of financial, operational, and other key performance indicators for client engagements, internal projects, or overall team goals.
- Partner with Sales and Client Solutions and Sector Leadership teams to support and lead client presentations (both in-person and virtually) as part of sales pursuits and renewals.
- Coordination and governance of sales activity throughout the sales process including qualification, discovery, proposal, pricing presentation and negotiation.
- Problem solve technical issues and client questions. Escalate issues to senior management and dedicated technical team as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
- A high degree of analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in working in a growing multi-industry sales environment.
- Can draw upon the analysis and research of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company's largest, most strategic occupier clients.
- University level degree in Business, Real Estate, Economics, Data & Analytics, or related program.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with 5 years of experience in sales, business intelligence, prop-tech, consulting and/or real estate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively present information.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
- No detailed technical data management and analytics experience is required. But a knowledge of data management, architecture, and analysis, along with knowledge visualization and analytics tools including Tableau would be an asset.
- Elementary understanding of hosting environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure preferred.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents such as complex and lengthy RFP documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in fast moving situations.
- Technically savvy with solid experience in Microsoft Office, including: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
