We are looking for talented and inquisitive people to join our development team. The team is recognised as being one of the country's most experienced advisors on complex, large-scale, transformational development projects and has extensive experience advising significant public and private sector landowners, developers and housebuilders on major regeneration, transport and infrastructure-led development schemes.

The team is based in our Head Office in London and provides a full range of planning, compulsory purchase, land assembly, valuation and development consultancy advice. We operate throughout the UK and internationally and advise on large, high-profile nationally and globally significant projects, with a strong client base including landowners, development corporations, transport authorities, private developers and housebuilders, local authorities, and development delivery vehicles.

The Development & Assurance group comprises over 100 real estate professionals based in London and across the UK, and offers a wide range of consultancy and transaction services focused on the Planning, Land Assembly and Development process. We are engaged on over £50bn worth of commercial and mixed-use development projects around the UK and internationally.

We are a team with a diverse range of skills and are looking for enthusiastic and proactive new team members with experience in any of the following areas to support and drive our growing business:

• Advising on development options, site feasibility/viability and delivery strategies
• Running complex development appraisals and cash flow modelling
• Running marketing and development partner procurement exercises
• Preparing Business Cases for investment
• Preparing client reports
• Developing strong relationships with our clients and project stakeholders
• Providing holistic advice on the delivery of major regeneration and infrastructure schemes
• Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Key essential skills and experience:

• MRICS qualified (or equivalent) preferred with a degree and/or a relevant post graduate qualification.
• Extensive post-qualification experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
• High attention to detail and highly organised
• Able to act independently and as part of a team
• Proficient user of Excel, Argus and AI platforms

Infrastructure and Real Estate

Our Infrastructure and Real Estate team supports both public and private sector clients on complex infrastructure, real estate, and capital projects. Typical engagements include urban regeneration, transport, energy and renewables, and occupier advisory to central government and large corporate companies.

Personal independence

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
