We are looking for a talented individual to lead the operations of our Global Data Privacy team. Reporting to our Deputy General Counsel (Commercial & Privacy) some of your key responsibilities will include the following:

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Core Privacy Operations Function: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data privacy team, ensuring the effective management of data subject rights requests, data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), vendor due diligence, and other core privacy processes.
• Manage the Data Privacy Project Portfolio: Ensure delivery of the various Data Privacy projects (permanent and temporary) including the group-wide Data Retention Programme and other strategic privacy projects.
• Head the Privacy Assurance & Risk Management Team: Direct the function responsible for identifying, mapping, and assessing privacy risks across the business. Drive the ongoing development and implementation of a robust Data Privacy Programme, including continuous process improvements and assurance activities.
• Lead the Adoption & Adherence Team: Drive enterprise-wide adoption of privacy-by-design principles by overseeing privacy communications, training, reporting, and adherence monitoring. Ensure that privacy is embedded into business processes, systems, and culture.
• Oversee AI Governance for Data Privacy: Lead the data privacy aspects of AI governance, ensuring the responsible and compliant deployment of AI technologies in line with evolving global regulatory requirements.
• Governance Leadership: Act as a core member of the Governance Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction, planning, and execution of the wider data privacy compliance agenda.

Qualifications

Specialist skills and experience

• Do you have extensive experience leading privacy operations or related functions within multinational organisations, including oversight of teams across multiple locations?
• Can you demonstrate the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams?
• Do you have a strong background in operating within fast-paced, digital-first environments, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities around data use, innovation, and privacy risk management?
• Do you have experience working in highly regulated sectors (ideally in gaming), with a strong grasp of compliance expectations and accountability frameworks?
• Do you have proven ability to lead complex data privacy programmes and projects (e.g. data retention, privacy by design initiatives) from conception to implementation, balancing legal, operational, and business considerations?
• Do you have a deep understanding of privacy risk identification, mapping, and mitigation, including the development of effective governance and assurance frameworks to embed data protection across the enterprise?
• Do you have experience driving privacy culture through impactful training, awareness campaigns, and enterprise reporting; capable of influencing behaviours and promoting accountability at all levels?
