About you...

Service Excellence - We are looking for a visionary and experienced leader to head our EmPower Contextual Safeguarding Service. You will be responsible for embedding a trauma-informed, multi-agency safeguarding system that places young people and families at the centre. You will lead locality-based teams to deliver the right support, at the right time, by the right people.

Leadership - You will define and communicate a clear vision for adolescent safeguarding aligned with the EmPower model. Your strategic thinking and operational agility will shape policy, commissioning, and practice across health, education, police, and voluntary sectors. You will inspire multi-disciplinary teams and lead workforce development in trauma-informed practice and adolescent development.

Passion - You are passionate about innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement. You will drive service transformation, amplify the voices of young people and families, and ensure inspection readiness. Your leadership will be key to embedding the EmPower model into everyday practice and strengthening multi-agency collaboration.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A graduate or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • CQSW, Dip SW, BA in Social Work or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in management or leadership within children's social care services
