Job Description
The Consumer Segments and Propositions team is a new team in the European Consumer Solutions team that closely aligns to several Visa 2030 strategic initiatives. This team's overarching goal is to drive spend and penetration from our consumer segments by creating compelling propositions and best-in-class experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the development and refresh of compelling customer value propositions (CVPs) across all affluent segments in Europe - with a focus delivering the right product features, differentiating benefits, and service levels across each tier of customer segments
- Support Atlas Blue rollout in Europe: serve as overall project management lead, liaise with global team to meet project deliverables, manage executive updates/steercos, coordinate across multiple markets/clients
- Work closely with Global Consumer Solution team to support key strategic initiatives (e.g. Atlas Blue, overall affluent) and ensure European strategy/programme, annual targets and reporting is aligned on an ongoing basis
- Partner with Director of Consumer Segments and Propositions and client/cluster, Innovation teams on a range of key initiatives, e.g. fast-track pilots, creating/executing Pan-European affluent benefits strategy, identify new business opportunities, win RFPs, provide ongoing support in this key segment
- Support client discussions, where required, on our Visa 2030 Affluent strategy (e.g., customer understanding, narrative, premium content, and commercial product strategy)
- Monitor, track and provide regular reporting on key performance indicators
- Support key priorities and initiatives from both Global and European leadership as required
- As requirements of this role evolve, adapt to growing needs of the team and broader products organisation
Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience in financial services roles (strong preference for experience in affluent, HNW segments, Atlas Blue)
- Deep background in issuing institution managing and growing card portfolios
- Familiarity with development of new consumer value propositions, a passion for meeting consumer needs and ability to translate customer need to commercially viable and differentiated propositions
- Rigorous thinker, ability to transpose business, financial and technical understanding to relevant market inputs with sales and product teams as well as with external client discussions - leading to commercial & revenue opportunities
- Ownership and driving impact are important aspects to the role, must have the mindset to fully understand and quickly overcome commercial, technical, industry and internal challenges to succeed
- Sound business acumen, analytical skills and keen understanding of new technology payment business models and profitability drivers
- Strategic thought leadership coupled with execution bias to support/drive initiatives and meet key result areas
- Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across Visa functions, navigating a matrix organisation
- Comfortable in iterative and continuous change to maximise opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Constructively challenges status quo to aim higher, acts as agent of change

- Willingness to travel as required
