Overview:
The Senior Manager, Client Services, will have responsibility for targeting, winning, developing and managing a portfolio of clients and increase revenues by selling the full range of MUFG Pension & Market Services lease advisory services' products.
You don't necessarily need to understand us, but you need the technical skills, so you could be a part-qualified Accountant, have worked as part of a medical equipment sales team, been in the public sector in a sales role or sold into the public sector and then if you're successful, we can train you once you join us.
This role can be based on a hybrid basis from our central London office or our satellite office in Basingstoke, so you will need to be within a commutable distance of one of the locations to ensure you can be in the office as required.

What you need:
As with any role, we want to find the right person and we want to make sure you know it's the right role for you too.
• A good understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations and best practice, in addition to an understanding of IFRS 16 and the lease accounting regulatory environment
• The drive, desire, motivation and passion to go out and win new business
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of internal colleagues and external customers and stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience in a leasing sales environment, with a detailed understanding of the asset finance and leasing industry, or public sector leasing experience
• Good knowledge of the different types of public sector and quasi-public sector bodies
• Strong presentation skills and excellent IT skills
• An ability to relate to and work with colleagues and team members at all levels, with a willingness to take a hands-on role as and when necessary
• Resilience, with the ability to remain composed, diplomatic, professional, friendly and tactful, managing your emotions in the face of pressure, setbacks and dealing with provocative situations
• A client focussed work ethic, with strong commercial awareness and great relationship management skills
• Exceptional financial skills which will enable you to manage the financials of this area of the business
• A strong, committed, proactive, 'can do' approach to work, and the energy to do a great job
• A high level of motivation to enable you to achieve revenue targets

Day to Day you will:
• Work to increase the number of organisations using the MUFG Pension & Market Services procurement and leasing frameworks and lease accounting software, including Police authorities, Schools, the NHS and Universities
• Build internal and external networks to promote our service offering and raise our team profile to generate new leads and contacts for our business
• Promote MUFG Pension & Market Services as the leading public sector lease advisor
• Manage relationships with key clients, acting as a senior point of referral, and support CRM's with their client relationships
• Be a visible role model, working closely with CRM's, providing them and their teams with a referral point for technical and client service queries
• Ensure any client work is undertaken at the appropriate level, in accordance with internal quality control and service level agreements, setting an example to team members and other Client Relationship Managers (CRM's) on how to manage a profitable client contract, delivering a high-quality service in line with our team-based delivery model
• Ensure that client contracts are fulfilled to a high standard and work is delivered to agreed timescales, attending review meetings with clients as and when required
• Lead internal and external technical initiatives and events, for example training sessions, webinars and presentations
• Share your core technical knowledge with other team members and participate in internal knowledge sharing initiatives and projects arising from significant legislative or regulatory change
