Senior Manager, Account Management - Cyber Security

About the role

EPAM is looking for a talented Business Development Lead with experience selling security services in a channel sales model. The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving revenue across EPAMs security portfolio of services and for building alliance relationships to drive a new MSS solution set built on Google Chronicle. The candidate will work closely with internal and external technical, sales and account management teams to represent and sell EPAMs offerings in client-facing presentations. We are looking for an individual with strong written, verbal, and client-facing presentation skills and a strong passion for cybersecurity. The right applicant should have a history in selling security services and be motivated to keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies and relevant solutions. The successful applicant will take a consultative approach to selling and problem solving. He or She must be able to field first calls with clients, credentalize EPAM security capabilities and identify areas of interest that drive follow up meetings with our SMEs.

This role will allow for working from home with business travel to be expected.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and present EPAMs security competencies and be able to communicate our PoV and our capabilities to both business and technical stakeholders
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholder teams to identify target accounts, targeted messaging and sales approach
  • Meet with clients to qualify opportunities that align with our offerings
  • Identify and engage the right technical resources to support discovery and scoping calls with clients
  • Work with practice leads to build out commercial proposals and present them to clients
  • Track and follow key industry trends and articulate how they align to EPAM offerings
  • Manage sales pipeline ensuring periodic follow-ups as needed to move opportunities from prospect through close
  • Work closely with practice leaders, presales and account managers to refine messaging, presentations and artifacts to support our sales motions
  • Support and enable our technical leaders and help them develop their sales acumen

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience selling cybersecurity products or services. Managed Security Services, SIEM or SOC related technologies preferred
  • Consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience selling in a channel sales model with multiple internal and partner stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the unique security needs and challenges across key industries
  • Basic understanding of cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), application security/SDLC, security operations (SOC), Zero Trust principles, incident response, threat hunting, penetration testing, red teaming and vulnerability management
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills

Nice to have

  • Understanding of global regulatory frameworks as they relate to cyber security and data privacy (GDPR, ISO-27000, HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS, CCPA...etc.)
