About The Role

We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you'll play a key role in shaping our financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making.

You'll lead the monthly management accounts process and support wider financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight across our operations.

Key Responsibilities as a Senior Management Accountant:

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
• Ensure revenue and expenses are correctly reflected and reconciled.
• Maintain control accounts and oversee journal postings.
• Produce detailed P&L and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare quarterly UK VAT returns and support audit processes.
• Analyse KPIs and provide commentary to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive cost efficiencies.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in management accounting.
• Experience with Sage X3 (beneficial but not essential).
• Strong background in financial accounting and reporting.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Clear communicator with the ability to partner across the business.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and keen to make a difference.
