Kings College London is a world class university and the department of Estates and Facilities, Engineering Denmark Hill is responsible for maintaining the services across the Campus for all staff, students and visitors.
About the role:
Responsible for undertaking planned preventative and reactive maintenance throughout designated College buildings, ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory and College compliance requirements. To provide technical and managerial support to Technicians within the team.
The Maintenance team (of which the Senior Maintenance Technician is part) will have responsibility for the operational performance and safety of their buildings at all times, and will have responsibility for liaising with specialist sub-contractors and other building dedicated engineers to maintain high quality service delivery and maximum system uptime.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract
About You: (the candidate)
Essential criteria
- City & Guilds or time serviced apprenticeship in either M&E
- OR an NVQ level 3 in either M&E
- Grades A-C in English and Maths
- Intermediate (or above) MS Office skills
- Awareness of Health Safety regulations and guidance
- Managerial experience
- Significant experience maintaining and operating building services in a complex building
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, and ability to prioritise workloads
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work without supervision
