Attainments Professional qualifications
Essential criteria
- Fully registered medical practitioner
- GMC registration
- MRCPCH part 1
- Equivalent Postgraduate qualification in paediatrics
Desirable criteria
- MRCPCH or equivalent
Experience Job specific
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate paediatric experience, including both general paediatrics and neonatal intensive care.
Desirable criteria
- UK Paediatric and neonatal experience
Management/audit
Essential criteria
- Awareness and Involvement in audit and Management
Desirable criteria
- Completed audit or Quality Improvement projects
Teaching
Essential criteria
- Evidence of interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Desirable criteria
- PG qualification in medical education
Personal skills
Essential criteria
- Able to prioritise and organise own workload
- Must be able to communicate clearly in oral and written form

Training
