Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Medical Degree
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Previous Emergency Medicine experience at junior grade level in the UK
Desirable criteria
- Academic experience - research and/ or teaching
- Experience in Anaesthesia / Critical Care
- Membership of MRCEM
Experience
Essential criteria
- Completed Foundation training or equivalent
- Previous experience in Emergency Medicine
Skills
Essential criteria
- Good communication skills
- Evidence of organisational skills
- Workload management skills
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of leadership skills
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge and evidence of basic understanding of Acute presentations to ED
- Portfolio of evidence for the Emergency Department - demonstrating excellent clinical skills
