Position Description
As a Senior Local HR Partner, you will partner with your dedicated client group, providing effective HR support throughout all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting HR projects, working closely with the UK HR team as well as global teams including Learning & Development and Compensation and Benefits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and driven HR Generalist to gain further exposure to multiple areas of HR.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-end HR service and provide expertise HR advice and support for our Stakeholders, Employees and Global HR Team functions such as Shared Services, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development
- Manage the full HR cycle, including but not limited to maternity/paternity/adoption/SPL, flexible working and leaver processes
- Manage and advise managers on complex employee relation topics such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance meetings
- Prepare documentation and data to provide to the Payroll team on a monthly basis including new starters, leavers, contractual changes and absence
- Local coordination, including advising managers, on annual compensation review and talent management processes
- Support the onboarding of new employees through delivering and preparing the induction; conducting employee verification documentation e.g. immigration checks; and management of the visa sponsorship system and process
- Proactively update HR policies and processes to comply with UK legislation and recommend process improvements to maximize departmental efficiency
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field. CIPD qualified - Level 5 desirable
- HR generalist experience (minimum 3 years) in an advisory role, together with up to date knowledge of UK employment law, it's application and best practice
- Experience of managing payroll topics with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office proficient
- Strong business acumen and high customer service orientation with a high level of initiative and motivation; strong planning and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team - experience of working in a global matrix organization desirable
