The Team
Our legal team provides key support for all TikTok's innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and platforms. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal guidance and support.

The Role
The TikTok team is growing fast and is seeking an experienced, bright and capable antitrust/ competition lawyer to join the Global Legal Antitrust Team. One of the critical challenges is the need for our team to provide exceptional legal support for TikTok's antitrust/competition matters. This role will be based in London.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of antitrust/competition law and principles, and review, interpret, and analyze legal information in the subject matter area. Provide region-specific insights to TikTok's Global Antitrust Lead in the US.
- Manage governmental antitrust/competition-related inquiries including management of outside counsel.
- Act as an antitrust/competition advisor to both business and legal colleagues, including on potential investments/acquisitions (including foreign direct investment laws), product guidance, and policies.
- Identify and anticipate highly complex antitrust/competition-related legal and policy issues, including monitoring trends, cases, and regulations. Must have familiarity with digital platform legislation (Digital Markets Act, UK Digital Markets Unit, etc.).
- Assist in the design and implementation of company-wide competition compliance programs and initiatives. Provide internal competition trainings.
- Participate actively in litigation matters.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Seeking a senior lawyer with competition law experience in private practice or a corporate law department, with a highly regarded firm or organisation.
- Must be qualified in the UK or at least one EU jurisdiction.
- Experience in multi-jurisdictional practice, including dealing directly with the UK CMA, DG Comp, various EU member states, and other non-EU jurisdictions, etc.
- Significant experience counselling clients in all aspects of global antitrust law.
- A highly collaborative approach and strong inter-personal skills.
- Strong communication skills that allow you to interact with a wide variety of individuals and to convey legal issues clearly and simply.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Top law firm experience including representing tech clients is preferred.
- Exposure to additional regulators outside of Europe is a plus.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience in technology.
