The full-time starting salary is normally £52,996.00 per annum, with progression available in post to £57,602.00 per annum.

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified School Nurse to join Birmingham City University, a thriving, innovative and dynamic environment that aims to provide high quality CPD for the global health workforce.
About the role
In collaboration with the Faculty team, the role will involve the following activities:
- Acting as a School Nurse lead within SCPHN team
- A contribution to taught delivery and module leadership across the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) provision and other related courses.
- Being the School Nursing representative within the SCPHN course team.
- Engagement with experts by experience, external stakeholders.
- Provision and development of placement support to SCPHN students and Practice Assessors and Supervisors.
- Provide academic and pastoral support students undertaking the SCPHN and pre-registration Nursing course.
About you
We are looking for someone who is committed and motivated and can enthuse and engage students, while also contributing to the School's scholarly and enterprise activities. Credibility and proficiency in School Nursing is essential. In addition, experience of supporting students is also desirable for this post. Ideally, you will hold a postgraduate award. The ability to work within a team and IT skills are a core requirement.
