About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Controlled Environment Agriculture with specific knowledge and expertise in smart agriculture and vertical farming. You'll have experience of working in controlled environment cropping, either in a research setting or in the vertical farming and related industries. Alongside a detailed knowledge of crop science related to controlled environment agriculture, knowledge of smart technologies used in vertical agriculture would be beneficial.

You will be passionate about teaching,possessingexcellent communication skills, with the ability todeliver high quality teaching and learning to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will be devising innovative teaching and assessments,seminars and tutorials and you will supervise UG and PG students in their research projects.

It would be desirable for youto have experience in theHE sector and essential skills include excellent interpersonal skills, with theability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods.
