We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, who can make a significant contribution to our undergraduate and postgraduate professionally accredited courses. You will be an established academic in accounting & finance with leadership experience in managing postgraduate programmes in Accounting and Finance. You will also make an active contribution to teaching, professional engagement, pursue high quality research and attract research funding in the subject area. Applicants with demonstrated excellence in teaching in Accounting & Finance, leadership and a strong record of research seeking a position of a Reader may be considered.
The Accounting and Finance subject group has a long history of applied learning and engagement with the business community, and we are looking for candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and innovative approach to delivering the curriculum. You will have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience, which is focussed on achieving high levels of employability and a track record of research in the Accounting or Finance.
Our academics publish their research in leading journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, British Journal of Management, Journal of International Accounting, Auditing & Taxation, Accounting Forum, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Small Business Economics, The International Journal of Accounting, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Energy Economics, among many others. They also hold positions on the editorial boards of leading international journals.
