Lansdowne Secure Children's Home has the ambition to be one of the leading Secure Children's Homes in the UK and we're looking for a Senior Learning Enrichment Coordinator to help us achieve this goal.

This role will require managerial oversight of all welfare and pastoral concerns within the school. The post holder will lead on all areas of personal development. The role requires specialist understanding of how to support and engage highly complex young people who are deprived of their liberty, working collaboratively with the home's Care, Education and Health teams.

Key tasks of the role include:

  1. Responsible for the promotion and review of the wellbeing and safeguarding of pupils, including physical intervention as required.
  2. Lead in the intent and implementation of the careers programme, reporting effectively on the impact.
  3. Explore, plan and quality assure the instruction of a range of enrichment activities to broaden the curriculum offer.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  1. Ability to contribute effectively to the selection and preparation of activities that meet the diversity of pupils' needs and interests
  2. Ability to provide creative and engaging learning opportunities for children
  3. Knowledge of a range of strategies to establish a purposeful learning environment and to promote good behaviour

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
