You may not be an expert in learning, but you need to be passionate about it and up to date on learning tends and technologies. But above all you have a business first mindset and are an exceptional business partner, using this insight and experience to create the best learning interventions that help keep our business one step ahead.

What you'll do:

• Strategic Planning: 'Looking up and out' and using data driven insight, lead the development and execution a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the organisation's long and short terms objectives.
• Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to your business area and use your deep understanding of the business to proactively identify skill gaps and learning opportunities for teams and individuals that directly correlate to driving business results.
• Thought Leadership: Is a thought leader in latest learning developments trends, technologies and tools and create business cases for these.
• Leadership & Management: Is an inspiring and active leader of their people and dept, building a high performing team to enable the brilliant execution of the learning interventions.
• Partner Management: Own the relationship and quality oversight with offshore partner teams and partnerships for their business area.
• Program Design and Delivery: Partner with subject matter experts and vendors to design and deliver engaging and impactful learning programs across various delivery methods that has a demonstrable return on investment.

What you'll bring:

• Business Partnering: A business first mentality, demonstrable experience of partnering with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• Strategic Thinking: Able to join the dots to anticipate change impacting the business and the required learning needs to help keep the business one step ahead.
• Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: Ability to proactively analyse data and metrics to problem solve, inform learning strategies and measure program effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective partnerships in complex business environments.
• Innovation: Always looking up and out, bringing a innovative and creative approaches to designing engaging and impactful learning experiences.
• Leadership: Demonstrable experience in developing and leading high performing teams(3-5 year's experience) with the ability to influence and drive change within the organisation.
• Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.

This role may be based in Osterley, Cardiff, Dunfermline, Glasgow, Leeds, Livingston and Newcastle.
