Senior LEAN Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well known UK based LEAN consultancy, who have been operating for many years and are looking to expand. You will be joining a team of hugely experienced, dynamic and highly respected consultants in the manufacturing arm of their business.

The role will involve using LEAN tools to help drive efficiency into multiple different clients from large corporate businesses to smaller SMEs. You will be able to manage stakeholders at all levels from the board to the shop floor. You will be hands on in your approach and will be able to operate successfully across all areas of a business but will have a primary focus in production systems. As well as delivering change you will also responsible for coaching, mentoring and imparting your knowledge to ensure a legacy of long term sustainable continuous improvement. The work is primarily in the UK and you will be based on client site; the clients are based across the UK so you must be willing to travel.

You will probably have at least 5 to 10 years working in LEAN manufacturing with a production bias. Ideally you will have worked in the aerospace or automotive industry. You will have progressed within your organisations and you will have some consultancy experience. As an individual you will be passionate about driving change, you will be proactive and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be excellent at building relationships.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 to 10 years of manufacturing experience, with experience in automotive or aerospace

Proven track record of driving lean improvements

Strong leadership and relationship-building skills

Previous consultancy experience is essential

Passion for driving change and proactive approach to problem-solving

Ability to travel throughout the UK

Must have a valid work permit and be currently based in the UK

Benefits

£50K to £65K (depending on experience) plus car and bonus
