Senior Leadership Development Partner - Derby

About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Leadership Development Partner to join our growing team.

Base location for this role can be either Derby, Newcastle Or Leeds (travel UK wide is required)

What you'll be doing

  • Evaluate and analyse business/customer needs, design and facilitate solutions
    against budget which will enable the business to achieve its strategic goals.
  • Lead self-sufficiently on strategic projects across the wider Learning and
    Development agenda, from conception to business engagement to delivery,
    including the training offer organisation and engagement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders up to and including director level,
    challenging and advising on the most appropriate learning interventions by
    keeping up to date with best practice and new development theories, models
    and methods, including digital learning.
  • Work collaboratively across the wider Talent, Culture and Capability agenda;
    contributing to and owning projects as needed to deliver an integrated agenda
    that enables business goals. (Includes early careers, organisational performance, culture and engagement)
  • Champion a learning culture with a strong focus on achieving the full potential of
    employees through a wide range of development interventions including l eadership programmes, high potential development, core management skills,
    coaching, mentoring and eLearning.
  • Ensure strong focus on Diversity and Inclusion to ensure D&I is embedded and
    integrated into L&D plans and learning approach and programmes
  • Research, produce and analyse L&D management information, creating
    measures of success, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our
    learning experiences and the impact on the business.
  • Support culture and engagement strategy through design of appropriate
    development activities and training across nominated areas
  • Develop relationships with internal customers, external suppliers and learning
    bodies.
  • Champion learning through professional behaviour, presentation, team spirit
    and technical expertise
  • Contribute to the financial performance by bringing potential efficiency savings
    through reduced costs and or improved productivity and business development
    opportunities

    pilot
  • Various technologies and tools that support remote and blended learning
    environments.
  • Continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and
    advancements.
  • Knowledge of experiential learning cycle and Kirkpatrick evaluation model
  • Learning management software
