Our Learning and Development team have an exciting opening for a highly driven Senior Leadership development Manager. Motivated to develop our leaders to reach their full potential.

This is a specialised individual contributor role with a vast remit, reporting into the L&D Director.

Please note this is a hybrid Birmingham role.

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible for designing and delivering leadership development initiatives at all levels of leadership, from first time managers to senior leaders.
  • Work closely with the L&D Director to evaluate and maximise value and impact of learning initiatives.
  • Act as a sparring partner and mentor to other members of the L&D team.
  • Design and facilitate end-to-end blended learning experiences for different leadership levels.
  • Coordinate and drive development projects in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs - both internal and external.
  • Evaluate the success of learning interventions; assess and identify competency gaps so we can better prepare our leaders for their next career step.
  • Apply adult learning theories and methodology to design blended learning solutions and engaging experiences.
  • Help drive a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Identify, source, and evaluate external learning providers matching our uncompromising quality objectives and learning style.

As a team we are focusing on designing learning to fit growth and changes in our organisation, you will play a key role in building our team's strengths and brand internally.

What You Will Have

  • A continuous learning mindset and embody curiosity though following trends, doing research and staying up to date on the ins and outs of leadership development.
  • Deep experience in designing and delivering L&D initiatives, perhaps from a consulting or in-house L&D Manager background.
  • Proven experience in creating and driving leadership development programmes at different levels.
  • Highly effective facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to be deep into the details and thinking strategically at the same time.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively and work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Preference for engaging, influencing and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative mind-set and motivation to develop others and help them realise their full potential.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business acumen, enabling you to effectively translate business needs into relevant and timely learning initiatives.
  • Coaching qualification desirable.
  • Previous leadership experience desirable.
