- Salary from £50,788 per annum to £54,928 per annum
- Full-time - 37 hours a week

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Legal Services team at Sheffield City Council. The team operates and thrives in a fast-paced environment proving legal advice in relation to a wide range of complex litigation areas, including housing disrepair claims, contract and commercial disputes, property disputes and business rates.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of friendly and hardworking lawyers and assistants
- Manage high-profile and complex matters
- Provide advice and representation across various forums, including the County Court, Magistrates Court and First Tier Tribunals
- Work with the Legal Leadership Team and other stakeholders to provide top quality legal services.
For the role, you will need:
- Recognised Legal Qualification (Solicitor/Barrister or FCILEX)
- Extensive experience in Civil Litigation
- Management experience

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
