Permanent Contract | £48,610 to £52,594 per annum (Scale L) + 8% market supplement increase (extended, subject to review)

About the role
A senior housing lawyer is sought to join the Dispute Resolution section of nplaw's Dispute Resolution & Governance Team. The role is to specifically provide advice and representation to local authorities in all areas of housing law.
Key responsibilities
As a senior housing lawyer, you will provide clear and comprehensive professional legal advice to all clients, negotiate with other professionals and provide advocacy in the lower courts. You will advise on all aspects of housing law, deal with pre-litigation and litigation processes, have conduct of complex matters and manage a portfolio of your own varied matters, covering areas such as:
- Possession
- Anit-social behaviour injunctions
- Disrepair
- Homelessness
There will be the opportunity to develop your specialism with the support of like-minded people and an experienced team around you. You will also have responsibility for line managing a limited number of team colleagues - a rewarding role of offering support and guidance to help them develop their skills.

We are open to full-time, part-time and flexible working candidates with nplaw working in a hybrid manner and offering flexitime.
You will need to be a qualified solicitor, barrister or FCILEX with 3 years+ Post Qualification Experience to apply.
