Bumble is seeking a passionate Senior iOS Engineer to join our Profile Experience team and help empower fellow iOS Engineers and mobile teams to deliver and maintain high-quality product features across our apps. As part of this high-performing, cross-functional team-composed of iOS & Android engineers, a product owner, designers, and a data analyst-you'll be pivotal in ensuring the quality and innovation of the user experience.

The Profile Experience team is critical in delivering engaging user experiences across Bumble, Badoo, and BFF apps. The team's mission is to empower users to create high-quality profiles throughout the user journey related to building, editing, and displaying profiles within these apps. The team is also responsible for components such as photo and video uploads, which will allow you to explore deep platform knowledge and expertise in system integrations and technical complexity.

What you'll do

• Hands-on development: analyse product specifications, design implementations, write code, and rapidly deliver iOS app feature designs
• Mind performance metrics to draw conclusions and drive change
• Contribute technical ideas and suggestions to enhance the direction of the product
• Project ownership and driving process-related decisions
• Mentorship and guidance of junior team members
• Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code and tests
• Maintain build systems and write unit tests
• Be an efficient, responsible, and collaborative team member
• Work with QA in a weekly release cycle
• Be enthused about teamwork in an AGILE environment: attend daily stand-ups, plan and demo your projects

About you

• Product-focused iOS application development experience
• Evidence of delivering consumer-facing, mass-market, networked, high-performance iOS applications available in the App Store
• Experience in leading processes and driving product-related decisions
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Swift and iOS trends
• Understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Animation, GCD & Networking
• Excellent understanding of design patterns & Object Oriented Programming
• Understanding of analytics, remote reporting, and measurements
• Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI) and Unit Testing on iOS
• Experience performance profiling with instruments in Xcode
