Job Title: Senior Investment Reporting Accountant

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Investment Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic team based in Alderley Edge.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing, improving, and implementing comprehensive reporting frameworks that support our diverse investment portfolios. Your expertise will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations while providing valuable insights into investment assets held by the Group.

You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including investment managers, third party providers and senior leadership, to deliver high-quality reports that drive decision-making. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation of regulatory filings and audits, ensuring metrics and reports align with organisational goals. About the role

  • The preparation and control of the accounting records for RLMISL (Royal London mutual Insurance Society Limited) (inclusive of Group Pension Schemes, elements of RLI DAC and some Group Subsidiari) ensuring integrity in all reporting.
  • To drive improvement, control and efficiency through automation and leverage of systems or process re-engineering.
  • To be recognised as an SME on relevant processes/elements of the ledgers.Shares knowledge and coaches other team members.
  • To have an in-depth understanding of end to end process and appreciation of inflowing & outflowing data sources and how it is used.
  • To contribute to the team Vision and Purpose and Objectives and ensure successful delivery of the team's outcomes.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience in financial services and Investment accounting is essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and can be relied upon to represent Group Finance in both internal and external meetings.
