Senior Internal Communications Manager
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Internal Communications Manager to play a critical role in engaging and connecting our employees across all locations through impactful campaigns and storytelling across our internal channels.
You'll act as a trusted communications partner to senior stakeholders, developing and delivering creative strategies and campaigns that bring ITV's culture and strategy to life. This is a dynamic and hands-on team that combines strategic thinking with creative execution, from advising senior leaders to producing engaging content, running events, and managing key channels.

The team

Our Internal Communications team plays a pivotal role in driving engagement, collaboration, and understanding across all areas of our business.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted Internal Communications business partner for key functions. Provide expert counsel to stakeholders on the best approach to achieve their goals.
- Develop a comprehensive internal communications channel and campaign strategy.
- Manage the air traffic control for campaigns using the channels
- Develop creative and engaging campaigns
- Manage select internal communication channels - end to end
- Manage internal events from concept to execution.
- Manage internal videos - from script writing to production
- Content creation and graphic production for internal channels and communications campaigns
- Generate engaging employee stories and "people pieces" to highlight colleagues, celebrate successes, and build a sense of connection.
- Establish clear metrics and regularly measure channels and campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategy.
- Co-manage the Internal Comms listening channels for your stakeholders
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- At least 5+ years in a senior Internal Communications role, within a large, fast-paced complex organisation.
- Previous line manager experience, with a passion for developing talent.
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment, all with lots of sometimes conflicting priorities.
- Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders effectively.
- Excellent event management experience
- Strong editorial, script writing for speeches and videos, and video production skills
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing multi-channel internal communications strategies.
- Expertise in managing and developing internal digital platforms (e.g., intranets). Experience with Oak and Slack is a plus (more than 3 years of channel management).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools to produce high-quality internal assets yourself.
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude and a deep understanding of how internal communications drives employee engagement and cultural alignment.
