The role of a Senior Interior Designer at AGC is to have responsibility of executing and delivering small - high level signature IA/FF&E projects and design deliverables to the highest standard. With an excellent portfolio of work, Senior Interior Designers can execute all phases of development including Client Liaising, Client Presentations and Pitches, Pre- Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Procurement, Installation and Aftercare, ensuring a project is delivered on time, in budget and to the company's exacting standards. With an excellent understanding of the company's needs, a Senior Interior Designer can lead and produce client proposals including advising on pricing and distributing in a professional manner accordingly.
You will be part of the Design team working closely with all brands and departments in the business reporting your line manager and Design Director in turn you will:
Project Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Management of all small to high level, signature projects ensuring they are on time, in budget and in accordance with client brief. Oversee all aspects of the RIBA Stages 1-5 conceptual design, design development, schematic design, and all FF&E design stages through to installations and client handover
- Evidencing excellent project management skills with clients, producing and issuing project programmes and progress reports on a regular basis
- Produce graphic presentations, PS rendered elevations and floor plans, Sample finishes/FF&E boards/layout plans, and proposals for AGC
- Produce cost specifications / Finishes schedules/FF&E schedules and tender documents, outlining all costs to gain Director approval.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills when managing budgets, ensuring all costs are approved and inbudget
- Producing and / or coordinating high level joinery designs with relevant specification schedules. 'Signing off' all tender and technical packages, shop drawings and sampling for AGC
- Negotiate, co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers and contractors. Ensure that all specifications and deliveries are being met on time, on budget andto the best possible quality to meet companystandards
- Ensure quality control and correlation for both the internal design team and external project associates at all stages of a project, ensuring that the production process is in line with the highest of standards
- In the final stages of the project ensure that all FF&E, accessoriesand styling requirements aremet by following AGC's after care processes, (you and your team to produce sign off documents and O&M manuals where required)
- Provide a complete project reconciliation in accordance with company policies. Seek final 'sign off' on a project from Directors
- Adherence and compliance with company handbook and policies following Best in Class standards
- Actively pursue and engage with new suppliers following AGC onboarding process
- Lead presentations alongside Associate or Director (where required), pitches and act as lead consultant for high level projects and key company accounts. Producing agendas, client meeting minutes and client briefing documents to following exacting RIBA standards.
- Actively seek opportunities for business generation for AGC
- Liaise with Sales Team to coordinate and prioritise active projects
- Generate competitive proposals, contracts and other related documents for AGC and seek approval from a Director
- Ensure all suppliers and contractors have been onboarded correctly within company standards with Senior member sign off
- To ensure you and your team have evidence that all sub-contractors have signed agreements with contractors where necessary
- Ensuring you and your team are following the AGC process relating to supplier damages in a timely manner
- Monitoring your billable time for project budgets
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly brand meetings
- Competitor activity and new trend assessment
- Ensure that the sample library area is maintained
- Ensure that all AGC Design documents are up to date and in their correct template folders
- Support Design Team on day to day basis
- Organising various training workshops and development across the team
- Ensuring that your team are contributing to Design team responsibilities
Requirements:

- The ability to cope well with numerous projects and adhere to tight deadlines and budgets, whilst still following Best in Class standards
- Confidently delegate and lead team where appropriate.
- Able to work well with a team as well as independently.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign &Photoshop, AutoCad, Procurement software
