JOB TITLE: Senior Integrity Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Focal point for integrity management and technical support to the Asset to meet technical, quality and commercial requirements.
  • Manage the onshore integrity project team and coordinate the offshore inspectors to ensure efficient delivery of the inspection plan for compliance against pressure systems, structural & marine inspection requirements.
  • Ensure the Asset integrity programme complies with the performance standards requirements.
  • Perform technical assessments of anomalies raised during inspections, including API 579 Fitness for Service Calculations.
  • Responsible for the management of the anomaly process ensuring compliance with procedures
  • Responsible for identification and assessment of Fabric Maintenance tasks
  • Participate in integrity-related Failure Investigations and Root Cause Analyses.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of key integrity strategies and documentation.
  • Manage the Integrity Management Contract and the relevant budgets for the Asset and resource, where necessary, for additional integrity support.
  • Participate and provide information, where necessary, for audits and HSE visits.
  • Management of offshore inspection enactment process including KPI reviews to drive improvement.
  • Coordinate 3rd party vendors and provide scopes of work where required.
  • Budgetary accountable and budget holder for Integrity team on maximum of 1 asset up value of £1,000,000 per asset.
  • Responsible and accountable for the Integrity related KPIs on the contract/ asset assigned to
  • Managing of both personal and work related issues related to direct reports from the Integrity team following guidance and procedure from Integrity Manager and HR
  • Routinely reacting to and prioritising workload for the Integrity team that report to you based on changing client goals and operational issues and constraints that occur.
  • Perform technical assessments of anomalies raised during inspections, including API 579 Fitness for Service Calculations
  • Non routinely determining method of implementing follow up actions related to integrity failures in line with integrity-related Failure Investigations and Root Cause Analyses
  • Routinely organising and reacting to vendor mobilisation to maintain a fast-changing Operational plan
  • Routinely reviewing inspection reports to determine where data is incorrect and highlighting concerns
  • Non routine workpacks out with normal inspection activity. Determining suitability of workpack against the requirements of the creation procedure and ensuring that the scope and instruction adequately describe the specific problem and inspection activity.
  • Routinely reviewing new anomalies and ensuring the anomaly risk assessment procedure is followed
  • Identification, management and monitoring of asset integrity issues following the AIMS procedure
  • Analysis and interpretation of integrity management performance while producing the Topside Annual Integrity Report. This involves combining information from a variety of sources to determine the suitability of a system to continue operation

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of related standards / regulatory requirements. Plant inspection or API certification, with associated experience, would be beneficial.
  • Preferred degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline or high level of appropriate role experience.
  • Understanding of risk-based integrity processes and databases, including AIMS, PSIMS, PIMS & SIMS.
  • Detailed knowledge of inspection techniques and damage mechanisms
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  • Proficient in use and function of integrity maintenance and anomaly databases
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
