Fixed Term to 31st March 2026

Due to internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Gwent Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service, with a current vacancy for a Senior IDVA.

The main functions of the role are:

- To provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse at highest risk across Gwent through support, advocacy and appropriate referral of adult victims of domestic abuse and their children.
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.
- Support and line manage a team of IDVA's providing advice and guidance on safeguarding issues.
- Provide a supportive role to the Regional IDVA Manager to support and enhance the service.
