Are you looking for a new challenge? We're seeking an exceptional individual to play a central role in the delivery of our new £1.25m ESRC IAA 2023-28 programme, and our £564,000 EPSRC IAA 2022-25 programme. You'll be providing advice and support to applicants and award holders, organising a range of impact-related events in conjunction with external partners, and producing regular reports on the impact which has been achieved by our IAAs.

You'll be based in the University's Research Services team and will report to and work closely with the University Impact Manager, who also manages our ESRC and EPSRC IAAs. You'll also work closely with the Academic Discipline Leads for our ESRC and EPSRC IAAs, and with the IAA Administrator.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive Research Impact Team which is dedicated to helping researchers to optimise the real-world impact of their research at every level from local communities to the global economy and society.

We're looking for an individual who has experience contributing to the management of budgets or funds, and an understanding of research impact and the pathways for achieving it in a higher education context. We're also seeking someone who has experience of event management; excellent organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong numeracy and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
