Your new role At NewDay

Reporting direct to the Identity & Access Senior Manager, you are an integral part of how we keep NewDay safe and a trusted security partner. Your role is crucial to enabling people to securely access the right systems and services at the right time. With a focus on continuous improvement, and automation, carrying out Identity and Access practices, and access provisioning processes on in scope systems and acting as an SME to peers. You will enable and ensure appropriate governance for role-based access for our core platforms and business applications.

0-12 months you'll deliver

  • Deliver innovative solutions, drive automation and continuously improve ways of working
  • Deliver against a roadmap for governing identities, access and EntraID for NewDay platforms
  • Enhance frameworks and practices to ensure Identity and access management good practice across the Azure and AWS cloud platforms, and core applications
  • Working with supplier to perform pperational activities so that access to platforms and applications is in line with agreed policy.
  • Define and implement metrics and measures that demonstrate delivery of our objectives

What you'll bring

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:

  • Comprehensive expertise in identity and access management practices on the Microsoft Azure platform / EntraID in a multi-tenant environment
  • Experienced on identity and access frameworks and industry standards
  • Experience of a DevOps environment and skilled in Agile working practices
  • Good understanding of standards for authentication, authorisation, access administration and governance
  • Effective communication to support a range of business stakeholders and partners
  • Consistent track record in delivering solutions and demonstrating customer outcomes in a regulated environment

And would love you to know or learn:

  • Security engineering practices across Azure and AWS cloud platform environments
  • Support for Microsoft security certifications
  • Payment Card Industry data security standards
