About the Role
This is a key role within our HR team and has the responsibility for the overall management of our HR Operations for currently just under 600 employees. The Senior HR Operations Manager will take the lead on all operational HR activities and plays an integral role in the design and delivery of strategic HR initiatives across Addison Lee. This role is valued across the company, and it is expected that there will be a high standard of service delivery to all stakeholders. Some of the key areas of focus for this role will include but not be limited to, HRIS, MI and data, contracting, reward, payroll, employee lifecycle as well as overseeing talent acquisition.

Reporting Lines
This role reports to the HR Director and manages the HR Administrator and the Recruitment & Talent Lead roles.
Requirements
Main Accountabilities
- Manage the HR Operations administrative service overseeing all contractual documents issued and ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are met
- Take ownership of the HR system (RSM), implementing and communicating improvements of self-service capabilities
- Proactively manage people processes to ensure readiness for any upcoming change
- Work closely with Finance and external provider to oversee all new starters, leavers, changes and payroll updates ensuring accuracy and legal compliance
- Lead on benchmarking, job evaluation and reward initiatives and processes
- Manage the Talent Partner, tracking and overseeing recruitment process as well as guiding on the recruitment strategy
- Drive a culture of process improvement with a tight focus on data integrity and an excellent service to managers and employees
- Responsible for the delivery of all reporting and analysing data e.g. Gender Pay Gap for Senior Management reporting
- Accountable for the preparation and follow up actions in relation to salary review and bonus processes, managing them through to execution
- Act as a key lead in any change processes including redundancies, acquisitions and integrations
- Review benefit proposition regularly on the market to ensure consistency and value as well as working closely with external brokers
- Advise and guide on payroll decisions in liaison with the Finance Director
- Responsible for employee lifecycle documentation and authorisation, in line with Addison Lee's standards and guidelines
- Lead on internal HR audit processes
- Support on higher risk ER cases when necessary
- Review any HR Operations or payroll related policies as well as act as a final review for ER policies
- Manage any cross functional or HR projects as necessary
Requirements
- An experienced and capable HR professional, adept managing a HR administration service and a variety of complex HR issues
- Experience of leading operational people activity in a commercially focused, fast-paced business
- Track record of working in a customer-focused environment where the emphasis is on SLA's and continuous improvement.
- Ability to 'zoom in and out'; putting in place the checks to ensure people processes run efficiently and effectively and getting into the detail as and when needed
- Skills to build and effectively manage relationships across and outside of Addison Lee
- Results orientated, with good business acumen and strong commercial awareness
- Experience of running of core Reward processes; including salary benchmarking, salary and bonus reviews, benefits enrollment
- Excellent knowledge of Payroll, Employee Relations and UK employment law
- Continuous improvement and troubleshooting mindset
- Strong people management experience
- Excellent level of IT skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data
- Experience of running recruitment campaigns and how to use recruitment MI to influence strategy
- Strong experience working with payroll teams and associated process such as P11Ds and pensions, with a proven track record of accuracy
- Strong experience of HRIS optimisation
- A track record of identifying efficiencies and implementing improvements
- Ability to hit the ground running and prioritise a diverse workload against the business needs
- Excellent attention to detail and resilience
- CIPD Level 5 or above qualified
