This HR Business Partner role is a great opportunity for an experienced HRBP to work with the Consulting Service Line in a growing and exciting period for the business on an interim basis for 9 months.

The role will partner with a specific group of stakeholders to grow and develop the business capabilities. In the role you will drive end to end solutions for the client group aligned to the Consulting, HR, and People & Purpose strategy.

  • Building trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders in the business, providing strategic and day to day HR leadership to drive the delivery of the business and people plan.
  • Work alongside the senior HRBPs/HRD to provide day to day HR business partnering support to the Business Area Client Group - including own business group responsibility or accountability for a specific HR Project.
  • Supports senior HRBPs and HRD in understanding and supporting the service line business strategy through use of data and analytics to create business insights and recommendations.
  • Able operate in a complex environment with multiple business units requiring differing approaches and outcomes.
  • Uses extensive skills, knowledge, effective judgement, and business acumen to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and strategic workforce planning, talent analytics and management, ensuring fairness and consistency runs throughout.
  • Solves problems objectively using business analysis to identify issues, patterns and relationships and makes data-driven recommendations.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to business area leaders and team on HR matters aligned to the business plan and the wider firm purpose and goals.
  • Supports the senior HRBPs in the delivery of the relevant service line talent plan, working with business area leaders to distil it into relevant action plans, ensuring appropriate connection with the firm-wide talent strategy, working with the HR Director and the service line working collaboratively across the COEs, SSO, Operations etc. to achieve high business outcomes.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Experience operating at Senior Manager/Senior HRBP level with a deep working HR generalist knowledge.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with ability to tailor message and style appropriately to a senior stakeholder group; ability to win confidence quickly using simple business language and appropriate challenge will be key to success.
  • Experience working in a highly commercial, fast paced, complex and transformative environment.
  • Experience in the provision of pro-active and customer centric advice, balancing consistency of approach and decision making with pragmatic commercially focussed solutions.
  • Delivery focussed and able to demonstrate putting the customer at the heart of the experience.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and complex matrix environment and relish working in a change environment while delivering to the business on a day to day basis.
  • Able to interpret data and use this to spot trends and make considered decisions quickly and with confidence.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) beneficial though not required.
