Have you got a breadth of experience HR business partnering at a senior level? Do you have a track record of delivering people change and transformation at a complex business? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our corporate function.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Director for Corporate Functions, you will partner four executive board members and c1,400 employees to drive value with a people plan centred on transformational and cultural change.

Your role will focus on enhancing the function's capability to achieve both short- and long-term business performance goals and strategic objectives.

You will also
• Engage proactively with trade unions to minimise risk and manage potential conflict effectively.
• Deliver organisational design and restructuring projects, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, providing expert HR consultancy and balancing priorities to implement effective people solutions.
• Leverage data and insights to drive informed discussions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the broader HR team and corporate functions to ensure deployment of key people processes, including compensation, performance management, engagement surveys, talent planning, and succession.
• Coach and support senior leaders in managing complex IR and ER issues, ensuring alignment with the IR framework to safeguard service delivery and reputation.
• Act as deputy to the HR Director for Corporate Functions, stepping in to represent the function and fulfil responsibilities for wider stakeholder groups as needed.

About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

• Extensive experience as an HR business partner at a senior level, including direct collaboration with C-suite executives.
• Proven track record in driving people change and transformation, delivering impactful results.
• Expertise in organisational design and implementation, aligning structures with strategic goals.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build trust with senior leaders, fostering effective decision-making.
• Deep technical knowledge of HR practices, including a strong understanding of current employment law.
• Experience managing complex industrial relations (IR) environments, effectively navigating challenges.
• Comprehensive change management expertise, including leading initiatives such as TUPE, mergers, acquisitions, and organisational restructures.
