Job Description
We are recruiting for Senior HR Business Partners in various rolesacross our divisions.The role will work in partnership with the wider HR Function in the design and delivery of people solutions to drive a consistent and cohesive culture and optimise organisational effectiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of HR practices, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
What you'll be doing:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall People Plan, through active participation and by leading people programme projects when appropriate/necessary. Create and deliver local plans to supports this ensuring they help deliver to critical business priorities and performance measures
- Lead the annual cycle of people activity, including pay review; performance calibration and employee engagement
- Provide HR solutions to the business on employee engagement, organisational design/ restructuring, talent and succession management, learning & development, performance management and resource planning. Ensure HR solutions represent an appropriate balance between external market practice and internal L&G policy and practice
- Work in partnership with the HRD and business leaders to diagnose cultural levers and interventions that will drive the right culture
- Lead and drive organisational change initiatives by providing expertise in OD, change management and engagement
- Partner with business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans that meet current and future business needs
- Utilise HR metrics and analytics to drive data-led decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programmes and services
- Provide proactive support and challenge to the senior management team on all aspects of people and organisation development, driving a high-performing culture and contributing to the business plan
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Essential experience in and understanding of employment law, HR policies and procedures
- Understanding of Reward and People Development methodologies and current best practice. Exposure to the people aspects of mergers and acquisition, including TUPE
- Experience of leading organisational change with a focus on talent management, organisation design and culture change
- Experience of providing effective HR partnership to support the business with an awareness of the different challenges that are faced
- Capability to source, gather, analyse and interpret business-focused HR data to enable effective decision making
- CIPD qualification preferred or equivalent demonstrable experience
