About The Role

As a Senior Home Administrator, you will be reporting into home managers across the North East. To support the Home Manager through the management and control of administrative systems and processes to ensure the effective running of services for Residents, Colleagues and the wider organisation. To support the recruitment, induction and training of other home administrators in the Area. Travelling will be required for this role, our shift pattern is 3 days a week.

About You

  • Undertaking effective Resident administration including finance, admissions and monitoring of Resident accounts
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and prepare financial reports on Resident and Home expenditure to ensure the effective financial management of the home
  • Preparing and submitting Resident financial information to Sales Ledger to ensure that invoices to Residents, local authorities and suppliers can be processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensuring the effective administration and monitoring of the Time and Attendance system and the accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR information (including new starters, changes, leavers, sickness and other absence) so that Colleagues are paid correctly
  • Effectively managing the recruitment administration for Home based positions including the issuing of new starter documentation in line with regulatory, statutory, legal and HC-One requirements e.g. DBS, Right to Work, NMC
  • Ensuring that all Colleagues' personal information is updated, maintained and recorded in accordance with regulatory, statutory, legal and HC-One requirements
  • Preparing management information and other reports as requested by both the Home Manager and Support Office to enable the effective management of the Home
  • Utilising the Administrator's 'Cornerstone' to ensure the effective administration of the Home as requested by HC-One
  • Responding to enquiries from prospective Residents and visitors in a timely and friendly manner
  • Working with the Area Director to support Home Administrators in the Area to perform to their best ability
  • Support the induction of new Home Administrators and the learning and development of all Home Administrators in the Area
  • Act as the Area point of contact for all Home Administrative matters
  • Travelling to our care homes within the North East area
