Qualifications/training and professional development
Essential criteria
- Numeracy and Literacy skills to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- NVQ Health and Social Care Level 3/ Care Certificate
- Safeguarding Level 1 & 2
- Basic Life Support
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of assisting in Urogynaecology clinics
- Experience of assisting in gynaecology clinics
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Experience of chaperoning patients for intimate procedures
Desirable criteria
- Experience of attending monthly MDT meetings
- Experience of Urodynamic clinic
Skills, abilities, and knowledge
Essential criteria
- Ability to deliver high quality nursing care
- Knowledge of Family and Friends Feedback Forms/PALS/Datix and commitment to improving patient experience
- Excellent communication skills, face to face, telephone, email, Teams, in MDT meetings and by written documentation
- Accurate documentation with attention to detail and understanding of clinical governance requirements
- Ability to work under indirect supervision to deliver delegated nursing tasks
Aptitude
Essential criteria
- Punctual, motivated and committed with enthusiasm and initiative
- Caring and compassionate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident and calm attitude with an ability to cope with stress and challenging situations
