Excellent Opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant with clinical and administration skills to join our busy District Nursing Team within the Airdrie Locality. All applicants must have a Full UK Driving License.

JOB PURPOSE

The post holder will deliver high quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses.

The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

• SVQ3 in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.

• Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.

• Working knowledge of basic information technology
