Senior Group Reporting Accountant - Renewable Energy

Hybrid | 2-3 Days Onsite, remainder at home in either Perth or Glasgow, Scotland
Start: ASAP | Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension)
£415/day | Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Join a leading player in the renewable energy sector as a Senior Group Reporting Accountant, where your expertise will help shape the financial future of a business driving the UK's green transition.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead group financial reporting and consolidation for a listed plc.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance.
• Deliver accurate, timely statutory reports and support external audit processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting systems and workflows.
• Work independently on complex reporting challenges with resilience and precision.

What You'll Bring:

• ACA/CA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years PQE in financial reporting or external audit.
• Strong experience in listed plc environments and knowledge of consolidations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and governance requirements.
• Advanced analytical skills and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Thomson-Reuters OneSource is a plus.
• Full UK working rights and ability to pass BPSS clearance.
