Senior Group Accountant
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Accountant with severalyears of PQE gained in either a group finance function or top accounting firm to join our Group Finance team!
This role has a wide range of responsibilities, providing you with a varied role covering a wide range of reporting within a FTSE 250 Plc.
We are looking for a fully qualified Accountant with strong technical experience, preferably with an audit background. You will provide senior technical accounting knowledge/support to the Group finance team. Coupled with supporting the finance transformation team with the Jedox financial consolidation system migration.
This is a great opportunity for the right individual to join our Group finance department and be a part of the change we are delivering within the Rank Group.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant: ACCA\ACA\CIMA with severalyears PQE
- Audit Background, preferable
- Good system knowledge, ideally Dynamics 365, and experience of consolidation systems
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience of macros
- A desire to build the commercial knowledge which support the ability to understand and interpret the numbers, drawing upon thecandidate's technical financial skills
- Ability to plan and manage own time effectively to ensure delivery against deadlines
- A keenness to learn and understand the business and to add value by using financial analysis to assist in driving performance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels
