Senior Graphic Designer
Central London 2 days, WFH 3 days
£48k to £51k
We are partnering with a globally established consumer lifestyle brand with a long heritage and a highly engaged creative community. The business operates internationally, with a strong creative and digital team based in London and close collaboration with European colleagues.
They are looking for this Senior Graphic Designer to act as a day to day brand guardian, shaping how the brand appears across digital, campaign and selected print touchpoints, with clear scope to develop into art direction.
This role will suit a strong designer stepping into, or recently into, a senior position who wants real ownership and creative influence rather than heavy hierarchy.
The Role
You (yes you) will sit within a Content and Creative team, reporting to a senior brand and creative lead, and working closely with Brand, Digital and Ecom partners.
The role is digital first, with some print exposure (POS and packaging), and focuses on brand expression, campaigns, launches and storytelling rather than purely BAU ecommerce production. Over time, you will have opportunities to take more ownership of shoots and art direction-based projects with support from an experienced team.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a guardian of the brand across all visual output
- Design high quality assets across brand campaigns, digital marketing, ecommerce, social and PR
- Produce selected print materials including packaging, POS and product support assets
- Work from briefs provided by both brand and ecommerce teams
- Contribute ideas in creative planning and review sessions
- In time, art direct and attend smaller product and lifestyle shoots
- Collaborate with European teams and support junior design resource when required
- Manage your own workload and occasional freelancers to deadline and budget
Your Turn
This role is going to be ideal for someone from a branded, consumer-focused environment such as lifestyle, leisure, fashion or culture-led businesses.
You will bring:
- Strong graphic design experience within a branded organisation
- Confidence designing for digital, with solid print fundamentals
- A good eye for colour, balance and brand storytelling
- Comfort working with engaged and often very opinionated consumer audiences!
- An organised and collaborative approach
- Curiosity and ambition to grow further into art direction
N.B. Candidates stepping into their first senior role are very much in scope if the fundamentals are strong.
Why Why Why?
- A globally recognised consumer brand with real creative ambition
- Strong balance of autonomy, support and development
- Exposure to campaigns, shoots and multi channel brand work
- A team culture focused on craft, learning and collaboration
