The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join this leading engineering firm. In this role, you'll deepen your expertise, contribute to high-impact projects, and represent the company as an ambassador in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard confidential information and intellectual property.
  • Promote health and safety for yourself and others.
  • Lead detailed geotechnical investigations, including drilling and analysis of soil and bedrock samples.
  • Manage geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations from scope to completion.
  • Apply advanced geotechnical engineering principles and project management skills.
  • Use industry-standard software such as FREW, SLIDE, Settle 3D, and Plaxis.
  • Ensure compliance with Eurocode 7, UK annex design codes, and construction specifications.
  • Drive innovation in design and identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Chartered status (or working towards it).
