The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join this leading engineering firm. In this role, you'll deepen your expertise, contribute to high-impact projects, and represent the company as an ambassador in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard confidential information and intellectual property.
- Promote health and safety for yourself and others.
- Lead detailed geotechnical investigations, including drilling and analysis of soil and bedrock samples.
- Manage geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations from scope to completion.
- Apply advanced geotechnical engineering principles and project management skills.
- Use industry-standard software such as FREW, SLIDE, Settle 3D, and Plaxis.
- Ensure compliance with Eurocode 7, UK annex design codes, and construction specifications.
- Drive innovation in design and identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Chartered status (or working towards it).
