Role overview

Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Front-End Engineer to come join our global business.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, and working collaboratively in a cross-functional product team within a tribe, you will be accountable for designing and developing applications and coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure Fresha.

What you will be doing

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and design requirements for the design system.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for the design system, including design principles, guidelines, and component libraries.
    • Ensure that the design system is accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance across multiple platforms and devices.
    • Work closely with the UX team to ensure that the design system aligns with the organization's design language and branding.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
    • Implement and maintain a consistent and scalable development process for the design system.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
    • Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate the design system into our products and platforms.
    • Contribute to a healthy engineering culture of feedback and growth.

What we are looking for

    • Strong experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
    • Experience with design systems, component-based design, and design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
    • Proven experience with a modern JS toolchain: e.g. NPM, Turborepo, Typescript, ESLint,...
    • A passion to write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism
    • Strong understanding of user experience principles, design thinking, and design methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication skills, ability to self-organise and work well within teams
    • Ability to plan and deliver engineering projects
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
    • Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the ability to influence upwards effectively
    • Self-starter and proactive approach
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment

Interview Process

    • Screen call - with a member from the Talent Team - 30 - 60 MINUTES
    • 1st stage - Video-call/in-person interview with Hiring Manager - 45-60 MINUTES
    • Tech stage - Video-call/in-person interview with Hiring Team - up to 90 MINUTES
    • Final Stage - Video-call/in-person interview with CTO - up to 30 minute
    • We aim to complete the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 3 weeks.
