Job Title: Finance Director
Salary: £120,00 + performance bonus
Location: HU13 9PD (Hull, East Yorkshire) Minimum 3 days per week in-person is required

MS3 Networks, backed by Asterion Industrial Partners, has successfully completed its fibre network deployment across Hull, East Yorkshire, and Northern Lincolnshire. We are now laser-focused on maximising revenue and optimising cost structures.
We are seeking an exceptional and proven Finance Director (FD) to lead this transformative growth period. This is a critical senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, where you will be instrumental in defining our financial future and delivering maximum value to our Private Equity investors.
The Role:
This is not a 'maintenance' role; it is a value creation mandate. You will be the financial partner to the CEO and the Board, responsible for the entire financial lifecycle focusing on hyper growth, excellent team leadership and providing strategic financial advice and governance, especially around any future potential M&A Activity.
Key Focus Areas:
- Exit Strategy Leadership: Design, plan, and execute a successful exit strategy, including readiness for any future potential M&A.
- Commercialisation Driver: Transition the business focus from Capital Expenditure (Capex) optimisation to maximising profitability and minimising Operating Expenditure (Opex) while driving revenue growth.
- PE Investor Relationship: Act as the key financial point of contact, expertly managing the reporting needs and expectations of our institutional Private Equity investors and Board.
- Financial Governance: Establish and enforce robust financial policies, risk management frameworks, continuous forecasting (Capex/Opex), and reliable financial modelling to support sound decision making.
- Team & Systems: Provide guidance and management for the finance team, ensuring compliance with all financial, regulatory, and legal legislation.
- Leadership: To be an exceptional leader who ensures that the finance team are supported and able to develop.
- A background in Telecommunications or a similar utility is preferred but not essential, however we do require candidates to come from a PE capital-intensive sector.
Essential Requirements:
To succeed in this challenging but highly rewarding role, you must demonstrate:
- Proven Exit Experience: Significant, verifiable experience in the successful execution of an exit strategy (M&A or company sale).
- Private Equity Track Record: Previous experience operating in a senior leadership role within a Private Equity backed company, with a strong track record of building meaningful relationships with institutional investors and the Board.
- Growth Phase Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading a fast-growing business, particularly during the revenue growth and commercialisation phase.
- Qualification: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
