Requirements

Position Overview:

The Consultant will have deep knowledge of freight solutions and your first role will be engaging with our client on an urgent RFP response.

More broadly we look for experience in high-quality consulting services in the commodity trading industry. This individual will work closely with clients to understand their business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, IT teams, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments of client needs and business processes related to commodity trading and risk management.
• See a project through from RFP to implementation and delivery
• Provide expert advice on best practices for commodity trading, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and business analysts, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the freight space.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, including preparing proposals and conducting product demonstrations.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in freight/commodity trading and risk management consulting or a related industry.
• Proven experience with freight solutions
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, trading operations, and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
