  • Undertake independent research of technical publications and literature in support of assessment into code verification and assisting potential remedial solutions
  • Present your work to your senior colleagues (usually the named expert witness), assist them in producing their expert reports, and review their works for quality assurance.

Required Skills and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Master's degree MEng / MSc in civil or structural engineering.
  • A Chartered Member of the ICE or IStructE with the Engineering Council UK or equivalent body.
  • Ability to forensically review civil and structural engineering issues

In addition, the following are highly desirable:

  • Forensic analysis experience to assist legal proceedings
  • Expert witness work as an assistant expert
  • A construction law degree
