We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Modeller to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving financial models that support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis. This role requires strong technical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

* Design and develop robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, valuation, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.

* Collaborate with FP&A, business units, and senior leadership to gather inputs and validate assumptions.

* Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess financial risks and opportunities.

* Support M&A activity, capital investment decisions, and other strategic projects with detailed financial modelling.

* Maintain and improve existing models to ensure accuracy, relevance, and usability.

* Document model logic, assumptions, and methodologies for transparency and audit purposes.

* Stay current with industry trends, financial modelling best practices, and relevant software tools.

Experience/Qualifications:

Essential:

* Educated to degree level and having completed their professional accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or similar).

* Proven experience in financial modelling within a corporate, consulting, or investment environment.

* Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Power Query, VBA, and dynamic arrays); experience with modelling tools such as Power BI.

* Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and corporate finance principles.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

* Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

Desirable:

* Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth business.
