Senior Finance Transformation Manager

What you'll do

Excellent opportunity to work in a very challenging and stimulating role in Group Finance, managing all Finance related aspects of new and existing initiatives (M&A deals transformation initiative). Initiatives could include acquisitions, mergers of existing company into a new JV or complete disposals but also transformation of the existing business model to support Vodafone Investments and Vodafone Group targets and challenges. Activities could cover the pre-setup period, including any required input and negotiation with third parties, the transitional post-setup period, and the steady state one.

  • Drive the definition of the service portfolio and charging arrangements in case of a Merge, Acquisition or Disposal of asset, ensuring that appropriate mechanisms (charging and governance) and legal framework are in place for Group services; manage and oversee all the subsequent changes during post deal period
  • Contribute to negotiations within Group and with third parties and to setup specific agreements related to the provision of group service (e.g. INCA, LTA, TSA, MSA)
  • Input into and prepare materials and presentations to be used by Vodafone senior leaders for decision making.
  • Drive and manage required pricing reviews for charging agreements including preparation and maintenance of documentation of services provided by Group.
  • Validate with Group tax the proposed model and related charges in line with transfer pricing requirements.

Who you are

  • Good knowledge of service portfolio provided by Vodafone Group and of existing intercompany mechanisms
  • Technical awareness to understand and manage implications connected to the provision of technology-based services
  • Commercial awareness to understand and manage implications connected to business and consumer products and services, together with pricing mechanism
  • Good knowledge of mechanism governing relations between Group functions/Regional organisations and Local markets
  • Extensive finance expertise (analysis of Business Case models, business partnering and decision support, cost modelling and pricing), including financial systems (HFM, OHP, EVO)

  • Discretionary yearly bonus: 20%
