Summary

International is an entrepreneurial business unit operating in over 420 stores and 80 transactional websites in over 100 markets across several key channels including, franchise, owned businesses, and joint ventures. We are well positioned to deliver the highly ambitious growth plans which we have set ourselves which we see being delivered through, strengthening our existing strategic partnerships, and developing new models and routes to markets globally.

We are looking for a highly adaptable commercial senior finance manager who is driven by a passion for change, who embraces a high growth mindset and champions finance talent, in parallel with a strong love for our products and our customers. Has strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to understand the big picture but is also comfortable with the technical details.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

• Providing commercial and financial business partnering to the Head of Finance and offering trusted advice on operational and project decision making.
• Partnering on the development of quarterly forecast and 5-year plans, modelling scenarios, and supporting the Channels leaders to identify and risks and opportunities in their area.
• Developing robust financial business cases and sensitivity analysis for new markets, sales channels and other business growth opportunities and capital expenditure.
• Working with FP&A to deliver insightful management commentary for your teams remit, at key financial points in the year and with the Head of Logistics to review stock and logistic implications.
• Leading a team of commercial finance managers, being responsible for developing a talent pipeline, team capability and ensuring that they are motivated and energised, enabling them to deliver as a high performing and impactful team.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• You bring powerful analysis through modeling to complex issues and have an eye for detail, understanding incomplete data to deliver insights and recommendations of an effective solution.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail, franchise, wholesale businesses or FMCG environment.
• E-commerce experience and supply chain/logistics is as plus.
• Previous line management experience
