Senior Finance Assistant (Receivables)

£35,493 - £37,361

This role: This is your opportunity to join an exciting and innovative Finance team in the role of Senior Finance Assistant. The role reports to the Income Manager and you will have three direct reports with whom you will work to ensure that processes and controls are in place to enable all income to be accurately recorded in the finance accounting system and housing management system. You will also deputise for the Assistant Income Manager in their absence.

What you'll need to succeed:

Leadership

  • Previous Managerial Experience
  • Strong communication, networking, negotiation and influencing skill
  • You'll strive for continuous improvement and have an innovative approach to problem solving

Housing Management

  • Process all transactions from our bank accounts web page so that they can be loaded onto our Cash Management System daily
  • Ensure daily cash receipts from the companies' bank accounts match the Receivables Bank Statement/cashbook
  • Obtain Housing Benefit Schedules and payment schedules for payments made by the DWP to match the payments made by the local authorities so that they can be recorded onto the Housing Management system
